Cranberry Marsh
Explore a maze of channels and calm open water areas in your canoe or kayak, the Cranberry Marsh may be the best place to see many waterfowl and other marshland species close up in the springand early summer.
McLennan River
For the experienced canoeist, travel along the McLennan River from Crooked Creek Road to Old Tete Jaune Road. Depending on water levels, this trip can take between 6 and 7 hours on this small, meandering stream.

Kinbasket Lake
Follow the East Canoe Forest Service Road until you reach "Km 21", and you will find the Valemount Marina, where you can launch your boat and spend the day cruising around this beautiful lake. There are also campsites nearby if you decide to stay a while.

Moose Lake
Located in Mount Robson Provincial Park, Moose Lake has a great boat launch located on Highway 16. Moose Lake is great for exploring, especially in a canoe. But please be aware of strong winds and sudden changes in weather conditions.

Yellowhead Lake
Mount Robson Provincial Park is also home to Yellowhead Lake, where you can launch your boat or canoe and exlplore the waters all day. Please be aware of strong winds and sudden changes in weather conditions.

Cedarside Regional Park
Visit a sandy beach, stretch out in the sunshine, canoe around the lake, and take a dip in Little Cranberry Lake. The park is located 3 km. south of the village on Highway 5, and has a large parking area, toilets, picnic tables and fire pits.
