Take it Up a Notch
McLennan River
Drop your canoe into the river just north of the village, and meander along the McLennan while you take in the scenery and the serenity for several hours until you get to Tete Jaune Cache where you can pull out and go for dinner at the Riverside Cafe (Groups of six or more-please call 250.566.9815 for your reservation-48 hours notice). www.tetejaunelodge.com
Kinbasket Lake
Paddle along the Canoe River into Kinbasket Lake, with Canoe Mountain as your impressively massive backdrop. Sudden changes in weather and unpredictable winds can make this canoe experience a little more of a challenge than the gentle meandering paddle on the marsh.
Wide Open Throttle
Whitewater Rafting
Unless you're experienced in extreme water sports, leave your adventure up to the experts at Mount Robson Whitewater Rafting or Stellar Descents. They know where the roaring white water awaits, and will guarantee a thrilling ride on the Mighty Fraser River or perhaps on one of the smaller, and fiercer rivers in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
